Seminars provide practical information on drafting financial and business plans, choosing organizational and staffing models, marketing the advantages of a palliative care program internally and externally, and securing the clinical and financial outcomes data required for a successful and sustainable program.
The End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium
The End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) is a national end-of-life education initiative administered by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing in Washington, DC, and City of Hope National Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. The project provides training for undergraduate and graduate nursing faculty; CE providers; staff development educators; specialty nurses in pediatrics, oncology, critical care, and geriatrics; and other nurses in end-of-life care so they can teach this essential information to nursing students and practicing nurses.
