Assembly On-Call
Assembly On-Call caters to those unable to travel and attend the 2025 Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Care in person. This alternative will include pre-recorded materials from sessions that will be showcased in Denver, Colorado.
In-person attendees of the 2025 Annual Assembly will have the same access, until June 26, 2025, as those who registered for on-call participation, as included in their previously purchased registration.
Assembly On-Call Accredited Continuing Education Awards and MOC credits include:Â
- A minimum of 45 credit/contact hours in virtual on-demand session pre-recorded content*
- Physician ACCMEÂ CME credits and MOC pointsÂ
- AAFP Prescribed Credits (application in process pending approval)
- RN and APRN ANCC NCPD and Category 1 Pharmacotherapeutic Contact Hours
- Physician Associate (PA) CME Credits
- General Certificate of Participation
Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credits*
The American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
AAHPM designates this other activity (blended credit for real-time and self-paced learning) for a minimum of 45 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)â˘.
Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Points
The 2025 Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Care is planned in the context of one or more of the ABMS/ACGME Competencies and includes an evaluation designed to assess changes in learnersâ competence, performance, or the impact on patient outcomes.
AAHPM has registered the 2025 Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Care to offer MOC points to the following certifying Boards:
- American Board of Anesthesiology: This activity contributes an anticipated 45 CME credits* to the CME component of the American Board of Anesthesiologyâs redesigned Maintenance of Certification in AnesthesiologyTM (MOCAÂŽ) program, known as MOCA 2.0ÂŽ.
- American Board of Internal Medicine: Successful completion of this CME activity, which
includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn an
anticipated 45 MOC medical knowledge points* in the American Board of Internal Medicineâs (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. - American Board of Pediatrics: Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn an anticipated 45 MOC points* in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.
- American Board of Surgery: Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes
participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn an anticipated 45
credits* toward the CME of the American Board of Surgeryâs Continuous Certification program.
*Number of MOC points/credits are subject to change upon presenter submitted session prerecording for on-demand participation.
Use of Learner Data: It is AAHPMâs responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting registered certifying boardâs MOC credit. Learner data will be shared with ACCME and the applicable certifying board. By completing the evaluation component to obtain CME/MOC points, you give AAHPM permission to share your data with ACCME and the relevant certifying board(s) where applicable.
Physicians claiming MOC points for their participation in Assembly On-Call must attest to
meaningful activity participation and completion/submission of (1) Session-Level and (2) Overall Annual Assembly Evaluations within the time frame designated for the MOC points to count toward any MOC requirements that are due by the end of 2025.
Evaluation period closes for claiming CME credits and MOC points on June 26, 2025, at 11:59pm PT. There will be a $50.00 charge for re-opening evaluation access for late submissions through December 31, 2025.
De-identified aggregated data from the evaluation may be used for research and/or publication and will conform to generally accepted standards of experimental design, data collection and analysis where indicated.
American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Prescribed Credits
Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Determination of credit is pending.
Conference organizers plan to apply for 21.0 Live AAFP Prescribed CME credits and a max of 21.0 enduring on-demand Prescribed credits. The total number of approved credits is yet to be determined. AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as
equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)⢠toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
Physician Associate (PA) CME Credits
NCCPA accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit⢠from organizations accredited by ACCME and AAFP prescribed credit. PAs may claim an anticipated maximum of 45* AMA PRA Category 1 Credit⢠for successful completion.

RN and APRN Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) Contract Hours*
The Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Centerâs Commission on Accreditation. Provider number P0284.
Successful Assembly On-Call completion awards the RN participant up to a minimum of 45
contact hours* (60 minutes per contact hour) in blended activity format. Attendees must
participate in the session in its entirety, attest to participation at the time of evaluation, and
complete/submit the online evaluations within the time frame designated.
NCPD certificates will delineate Category 1 Designated Pharmacotherapeutic Contact Hours
earned in addition to NCPD contact hours awarded for successfully completed conference
sessions.

Evaluation period closes for claiming NCPD contact hours and Category 1 Designated
