About the Couse
AAHPM’s 2026 Intensive Review Course: Integrating Evidence, Experience, and Exam Readiness, is a comprehensive, high‑yield educational experience designed to help physicians prepare for the Hospice and Palliative Medicine certification board examination, as outlined in the current Hospice and Palliative Medicine Certification Examination Blueprint.
It is designed to support the learner’s self-assessment of individualized strengths and weaknesses of entrustable professional activities (EPAs) for further development to improve practice outcomes in patient palliative and hospice care delivery.
This course is planned for virtual attendance with supplemental on-demand self-study accredited activities for comprehensive study. The course will be recorded and planned to be released to registered attendees when available from the post-recording production team.

Join course directors, faculty, and fellow participants for an informal welcome and orientation. This session introduces the reverse flipped classroom format and provides an opportunity to connect before the live course begins.

Live sessions focus on knowledge application and decision‑making to build confidence for both the board exam and clinical practice.
Attendees can will earn 13.75 CME/MOC/AAFP Credits during the live course.
Access expert‑led, self‑paced modules aligned with the ABIM HPM and HMDCB certification blueprints. Content covers essential clinical domains to support comprehensive exam preparation and ongoing professional development.
Content is vaild from May–November 2026 and attendees can earn up to an anticipated 10 CME/MOC/AAFP Credits.
Reinforce learning and translate new knowledge into practice through a guided post‑course reflection and commitment‑to‑change activity focused on professional growth and quality improvement.
Review all live session recordings and on‑demand modules in AAHPM Learn. Continue earning CME/MOC/AAFP credit at your own pace after the live course concludes.

Cancellation Policy
2026 Intensive Review Course registrations are non-refundable. We will not provide reimbursement for cancellations or non-attendance. Registrants who are unable to attend the course live will retain full access to all course recordings, slides, and supplemental materials following the live sessions, ensuring they receive the complete educational content of the course.
