DESCRIPTION:Please join the Self-Care Forum for their Invited Speaker Event titled The Power of Reflective Journaling: Sharing Stories of Going From Burnout to Author. \n\n\n\nStructure: \n\n\n\n\n10-minute introduction highlighting the realities of burnout in palliative care—its impact on clinicians and the common signs to watch for. Dr. Cynthia Pan will describe her journey using reflecting journaling to manage burnout\, discovering themes\, and eventually leading to publishing her book to make space for open conversations about taboo topics.\n\n\n\nThe core segment (20 minutes) dives into practical journaling techniques designed to foster reflection and renewal. Participants will learn how to use prompts that encourage self-awareness and emotional processing\, with examples tailored to the challenges of caring for seriously ill patients.\n\n\n\nNext\, during a 20-minute guided activity\, attendees will engage in a journaling exercise using provided prompts.
