What submissions are included in the Summer Call for Abstracts?
The summer call for abstract submissions includes 30-minute and 15-minute live concurrent sessions and scientific and quality improvement (QI) papers and posters.
Why isn’t there a 60-minute presentation option in the Summer Call for Abstracts?
The omni-channel format of the annual assembly gives learners the opportunity to participate in the way that is best for them - to encourage participation virtually or in-person, shorter bite-sized sessions are more easily consumed thus the elimination of 60-minute sessions.
What submissions are included in the Fall Call for Abstracts?
The fall call for abstract submissions is open specifically to professionals in training or early career hospice and palliative care professionals submitting case study papers and posters and scholar e-posters.
Can I submit to the Fall Call for Abstracts if I submit to the Summer Call?
Yes, you may submit to both call for abstracts for the 2023 Annual Assembly, if eligible. The acceptance notifications for the Summer Call for Abstracts will be sent prior to the close of the Fall Call for Abstracts.
When will Annual Assembly's registration open?
Registration will open in October 2022 for the Annual Assembly, held March 22-25, 2023 in Montréal, Canada.
Will State of the Science be happening in 2023?
No, the State of the Science will not be happening in 2023 as it is hosted every other year.
If I wanted to support the Academy with a donation, how can I do that?
